The brother she never had.
You’ve spent enough time trying to understand him. I want to make room for what’s been happening to you.

Why I talk about this.
I grew up watching my mother suffer in her marriage. I’ve also had to look at myself and do the work in my own marriage. That’s part of what I bring to these conversations.
I write to the woman who keeps trying to make the relationship work while her own needs keep waiting. We’re going to talk about what he’s doing, how it’s affecting you, and what you need now.
My role here is the brother she never had: someone willing to say what hurts, call out what’s wrong, and remind her that her part isn’t the whole story.
Plain words. Room for your own decision.
Talk about what actually happens.
The conversations you avoid. The things you keep explaining. The way you’ve changed around him. That’s where I start.
Be clear about what I know.
My personal experience is my perspective. It doesn’t let me diagnose your partner or know every part of your relationship. When an article explains a factual or safety point, relevant sources belong alongside it.
Give you a useful next step.
You can read the articles for free. When I recommend one of my Book + Guides, I’ll explain what it’s for so you can decide whether it fits.
